Small Groups

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

Proverbs 27:17

John Wesley, founder of the Methodist movement, believed small groups to be a place for accountability and spiritual growth. We continue that today in our small group bible and book studies.

In addition, we have other group gatherings including Wonderful Wednesdays and our First Friday Supper Socials that are places for fellowship and forming new connections with one another.

Being United Methodist Christians study

Being United Methodist Christians Study Next 3 Sundays
May 17th - June 28th

Rev. Easley is leading a study of Being United Methodist Christians 11:15 AM-12:15 PM the next 4 Sundays after worship. People are welcome to join the study, with the discussion June 14 on the book’s fourth chapter.
Copies of the book are available at no cost. It gives a good review for members of Methodist history and beliefs and of United Methodist teachings and structure. It also prepares people for becoming a member.
If you can join us, get coffee and a snack in the Fellowship Hall, and then come back to the Maggie Mae Room.
