Chancel Choir rehearsals are September through early June, Thursday evenings, 7:30–9:15pm. and Sunday mornings, 9:00–9:45am.
Newcomers at all levels of experience are welcome. Seasonally and during the summer, our Music Director invites soloists, small groups, and instrumental music for Sunday’s services.
The Chancel Choir for adults is led by Bunny Gruhn, Director of Music. Music representing different periods and genres, including classical, gospel, spiritual, Taize, chant, and global music, is offered at each Sunday Worship. A beautiful gift to God, our Music Ministry blends voices in harmony and evokes joy and peace in the hearts of those who worship God.
Soul Growth meets at 6:15pm on Thursdays in our Maggie Mae Lounge. We study books on topics related to current events, trends, and historical perspectives on Methodism.
Women’s Lunch (including spouses)meets from 12noon to 2:00pm the first Thursday of each month for food and conversation, September through May. Often a speaker informs the group about an area of interest. We also put together gift baskets for children at Easter or homebound members at Christmas.
Stitch-in-Time usually meets on Thursday afternoons about once a month in the Fellowship Hall to sew dresses for needy children around the world, and to crochet, knit, or weave warm hats that will go to Afghanistan through Trust In Education.
Lectionary Bible Study
Lectionary Bible Study meets at 9am Sunday mornings to discuss the current week’s Scriptures from the Revised Common Lectionary.
Faith Sharing, a small group for women, meets at 10am each Tuesday.
